In summer 2021, EC DEFIS called under reference number DEFIS/2021/OP/0005 for  6-months studies for New Space Solutions for Long-term Availability of Reliable, Secure, Cost Effective Space Based Connectivity. A budget of 2.8MEUR is available for two studies.

With deadline September 29th, 2021 a total of 10 tenders was submitted.

Tenderers are consortia with leaders of LSI (Large Scale Integrator) and SMEs  (Small and Medium sized Enterprizes) from different European countries.

The decision for contracts is awaited until end of 2021..
